About us:
2P Co-op is about card games and board games by two people who are beginners at the hobby. As the name suggests, the focus is on two-player games, though we reserve the right to write about other stuff, should the fancy take us.
Gillian is pretty much new to gaming. After failed attempts by Alan to get her to play various types of PC game, he's struck gold by trying board games. Either that or she's now better at disguising her weary boredom with feigned enthusiasm. She lives in London and has no cats yet.
Alan is a man who spent the formative years that should have involved escapades behind the bikesheds having games of Blood Bowl. After growing up, learning how to talk to girls (to an extent) and playing videogames for many years, he's decided to reignite his interest in boardgaming. He lives secretly in Reading, an illegal immigrant from Scotland.

One of the most popular queries on BoardGameGeek seems to be games that are suitable for couples. It's a question we've asked ourselves. This site is an attempt to review and recommend the two-player games we play, with scope for other short features around gaming. It will be, if you like, a beginner's guide - it has to be, as we're pretty much beginners ourselves. Hopefully it will be useful to anyone who stumbles across the boardgaming hobby, and wants to know where to go next.
